About Me
STRENGTH TO LIVE MINISTRIES
STATEMENT OF FAITH
Statement of Faith & What We Believe
At Strength to Live Ministries, we are a Bible-based, Spirit-filled, Christ-centered ministry.
Everything we teach, counsel, and build is founded on the Word of God and led by the Holy Spirit.
We do not build on opinions.
We do not build on culture.
We build on Scripture.
We Believe in the Bible
We believe the Bible — the Old and New Testaments — is the inspired, living Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16).
It is our final authority in doctrine, leadership, counselling, and daily life.
If it is not aligned with Scripture, we do not build on it.
God’s Word is alive. It corrects, restores, strengthens, and guides (Hebrews 4:12).
We Believe in the Trinity
We believe in one true God, eternally revealed as:
• God the Father
• God the Son, Jesus Christ
• God the Holy Spirit
(Matthew 28:19)
God is holy, loving, just, faithful, and sovereign.
We Believe in Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man (John 1:14).
He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again physically from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:3–4).
Salvation is found in Him alone (Acts 4:12).
Eternal life is a gift of grace, received by faith (Ephesians 2:8–9). Through Jesus, we are forgiven, restored, and made new.
We Believe in the Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is active and powerful today.
He comforts, convicts, guides, empowers, heals, and equips believers (John 14:26; Acts 1:8).
We believe in the gifts of the Spirit.
We believe in divine healing.
We believe God still restores, delivers, and transforms lives according to His will (James 5:14–16).
We Believe in Baptism & Dedication
We believe in believer’s baptism by immersion — for those who are old enough to personally confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (Romans 10:9; Romans 6:4).
Baptism is an outward declaration of an inward transformation. It is a public proclamation of faith.
We also practice child dedication, where parents commit their children to the Lord and commit to raising them according to Scripture (Proverbs 22:6).
We Believe in Marriage & Restoration
We believe marriage is a covenant designed by God (Genesis 2:24).
We believe God’s heart is for healing, reconciliation, and restoration wherever possible. We encourage believers to fight for their marriages in a godly way — through prayer, repentance, accountability, boundaries, and biblical wisdom.
At the same time, we are clear:
Physical abuse and unsafe environments are not God’s will.
No one should remain in danger.
Protection and safety are biblical wisdom (Proverbs 22:3).
While we believe God can restore what is broken, we never encourage anyone to stay in harm while waiting for change.
We stand for restoration — and we stand for safety.
We Believe in Loving Like Jesus
At Strength to Live Ministries, we strive to treat people the way Jesus treated people.
Jesus operated in love.
Jesus showed compassion.
Jesus did not condemn.
Jesus also did not approve of sin.
He loved people deeply — and called them to transformation (John 8:11).
That is how we minister.
We do not exist to judge, shame, or reject anyone (John 3:17).
We exist to support, guide, teach, pray, and walk alongside people as they grow in Christ.
We welcome people from all backgrounds, cultures, and life experiences. Every person is created in the image of God and deserves dignity, compassion, and truth.
Who We Are
We are a ministry that believes:
• The Bible is truth.
• Jesus saves and restores.
• The Holy Spirit still moves today.
• Healing is possible.
• Deliverance is real.
• Marriage matters.
• No one is beyond redemption.
At Strength to Live Ministries, you will find biblical truth — and you will find grace.
You will find conviction — and compassion.
You will find strength — and understanding.
You will find teaching — and belonging.
We are here to strengthen people to live — fully surrendered, biblically grounded, and Spirit-led.
Our Ministry
Pastor Brenda Vosloo
Founder of Strength to Live Ministries
Pastor Brenda Vosloo is the founder and visionary behind Strength to Live Ministries, a full-time, Spirit-led ministry rooted in Jesus Christ, the authority of Scripture, and the restoring power of God. Her calling is to strengthen believers in real-life battles — marriage battles, emotional battles, spiritual warfare, trauma recovery, and seasons of suffering — by bringing truth, hope, strategy, and biblical direction.
Strength to Live Ministries was not born out of comfort. It was birthed through faith, obedience, and fire.
For years, Pastor Brenda carried a deep desire to lead a physical church — a building filled with people, families, and worship. She prayed specifically for a congregation of 150–250 people. But God expanded her vision and gave her a digital mission field. What she expected to look like rows of chairs became a global online congregation.
Today, her TikTok ministry reaches more than 98,000 followers, with over 1.2 million likes, and multiple viral teachings exceeding 300,000 views. Through consistent biblical teaching, prayer, and discipleship, she has reached homes, hospitals, marriages, and nations — proving that ministry is not limited to a building; it is carried by the Spirit and released through obedience.
A Life of Teaching, Equipping, and Shepherding
Education has been part of Pastor Brenda’s life for over 20 years. She began in adult education and was part of a computer training centre, empowering adults with practical skills and hope for a better future. She then served as a high school teacher for 12 years, primarily within the public school system, and spent three years in a private school environment, working with families from a wide range of backgrounds.
Those years did more than develop her communication skills — they trained her to understand people, recognise patterns, and lead with firmness and compassion. She learned how to teach truth clearly, build structure, deal with crisis, and guide individuals from different cultures, belief systems, and life stories. In many ways, the classroom became her first ministry training ground.
Cross-Cultural Ministry & Frontline Spiritual Work
Pastor Brenda has worked with people from many cultural and religious contexts, including individuals from Islamic (Muslim) backgrounds, Hindu backgrounds, African traditional religious systems, and those coming from alternative spiritual practices.
For four years, she worked closely with people seeking freedom from occult involvement and spiritually abusive environments, collaborating with various organisations and ministry leaders. This work required discernment, wisdom, pastoral care, and sensitivity — and it deepened her understanding of spiritual bondage, deception, trauma, and biblical restoration.
Academic Foundation with Real-Life Authority
Pastor Brenda is both academically equipped and spiritually seasoned. She holds:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Theology
An Honours Degree in Theology
A Master’s Degree in Christian Counselling (graduated with distinction)
She has also applied to pursue her Doctorate in Ministry, continuing her commitment to theological depth and Kingdom excellence.
But she is the first to say: her authority is not only academic. It is lived.
Forged Through Fire: A Testimony of Survival and Faith
Pastor Brenda is a cancer survivor who endured major surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation. She has walked through pain, loss, spiritual warfare, and seasons that would have broken many — and she has learned how to trust God not only for miracles, but for endurance, healing, and daily strength.
This is why her ministry resonates with people: she does not teach from a distance. She teaches from the battlefield.
She understands trauma.
She understands grief.
She understands warfare.
She understands what it means to stand when everything shakes.
And she carries a message of hope that is not motivational — it is biblical, tested, and true.
Community Outreach Close to Her Heart
Compassion is a major part of Pastor Brenda’s calling. She has been involved in community service initiatives including:
Woodrock Animal Rescue
Wollies Animal Shelter
Little Eden Society (supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities)
Cupcakes of Hope (supporting children fighting cancer)
Through Strength to Live Ministries, she leads the Cancer Warriors Support Group, assisting and supporting individuals who are currently fighting cancer as well as survivors in recovery.
She also recently led a Bible outreach project where Faith & Action Bibles were collected and distributed to children in orphanages who had never owned a Bible — placing the Word of God directly into their hands through fundraising and practical mobilisation.
Author, Counsellor, and Course Creator
Pastor Brenda is the author of:
“The Prodigal Husband and What He’s Really Facing”
She has also developed and presented multiple structured, in-depth courses through Strength to Live Ministries, equipping believers in covenant, healing, spiritual warfare, and mind renewal. Her ministry includes one-on-one Christian counselling, weekly teaching platforms, and ongoing discipleship communities.
What She Believes and What She Stands For
Pastor Brenda’s ministry is built on a deep conviction: God is a Restorer.
She teaches that marriage is covenant — and that God’s heart is for marriages to be healed, restored, and strengthened. She believes that, wherever possible, believers should fight for their marriages in a godly way — through prayer, truth, repentance, boundaries, healing, and biblical alignment.
At the same time, she is clear and unwavering about safety:
Physical abuse is never God’s will.
If abuse is present, she encourages the victim to get to safety and seek the right support and protection. She believes God can still heal and restore a marriage — but never by forcing a victim to remain in harm. Safety and wisdom matter, and God does not call people to stay in danger.
Pastor Brenda understands this personally. She has walked the road of divorce herself and knows the pain, the complexity, and the rebuilding process. Because of this, she ministers with both truth and compassion — standing for covenant restoration while also supporting those who need safety, healing, and wise steps forward.
Her message is not condemnation.
Her message is redemption.
A Calling Fulfilled
It was always Pastor Brenda’s dream to be in full-time ministry — and today she is, by God’s grace.
Strength to Live Ministries exists to bring:
Hope to the broken
Strength to the weary
Strategy to those in spiritual warfare
Healing to those recovering from trauma and illness
Biblical clarity to those who feel confused or stuck
Courage to those standing for their marriages and families
Pastor Brenda’s life is a testimony that God can take pain and turn it into purpose — and that what the enemy meant for destruction, God can use to build a ministry that saves, restores, and strengthens others.
